St. Louis Day #2! There was way to much to post in one so I decided to break up St. Louis into two.
Day two was just as much fun as day one-much more walking and activity which left us with an exhausted little miss. We started the day going up The Arch-it was a very tight place and although the view was amazing I had a horrible experience. This is not a place to go if you are claustraphobic!
The pod was so tiny and three minute ride to the top feels like a lifetime. Just look at the tight space:
We did do the free museum underneath about Lewis & Clark which was a hit which all the “stuffed animals” to see and explore. After our experience we decided to head a bit out of town and go to the Magic House. From the moment you walk in the doors you are greeted with activities everywhere! The first exciting adventure was everyone wearing stickers instead of wrist bands for admission. Littl miss just loved that we all had on “fancy circle sticker”. We came in by the art room where little miss was able to paint a photo then put it on the drying rack to dry while we visited the rest of the museum. As a mom it is the little things that are impressive-who doesn't love not having to hold a wet paiting for hours or run to the car to drop it off! Added bonus look at this cute smock holder-craft room project in our future! Moving on we went to the first floor which was nothing but amazing. We were greeted by tons of tiny exhibits that were themed-our favorite the vet clinic:
They also had a grocery store for shopping and checking out and a river that you could fish and so many great exhibits to see but our favorite was the bean stalk that little miss could climb from bottom to top with a staircase that you could follow your child-which for us helicopter parents is huge!
We then ended our day with the bubble room where little miss was in a life size bubble-such a thrill for her that she still talks about being a “bubble girl”. There are so many great things to see and do and so many floors to explore this would take up an entire day and still have the kids curious for more. Want to visit Magic House?
